Christians in ministry are not immune to grief and loss – be it loss of family members, ministry, vision or material things.
“It is doubtful that God has ever used a man greatly that He has not hurt deeply.” A.W. Tozer
This quote does not mean that God is in the business of hurting people, nor that He is mean or malicious. Nor does it mean that we can only be used greatly by God if we have been hurt deeply. But out of deep hurt can come deep compassion, a new perspective and greater determination to see God’s Kingdom extended.
Losses do hurt us deeply; particularly when a child, husband or wife dies. Below are some resources to do with grief and loss, which we hope will be helpful. If you would like to talk to one of us about your own personal loss or grief, please contact us.
