In YWAM our greatest asset is our people, and we want to be sure to take good care of them. We need a person with strong administrative and communication skills who can plan, recruit, and manage our team. You don\’t need any HR training or experience, just a willingness to learn and contribute – we will train! Completion of a DTS is required.
If you\’ve completed your DTS and have positive references, we\’d love to have you be a part of our DTS team.
Throughout the summer, YWAM Vancouver hosts church groups who come to partner with us to do Urban Ministry here in the city. Our Summer Interns will help support our long term staff in leading these groups. They will gain hands on ministry and leadership experience, get to participate in urban outreach with the teams, and get to meet tons of cool people, both through the teams that come, as well as through the outreaches.
If you are 18 or over and interested in working with youth and mobilizing the church into urban missions this is for you!
Dates: June 14 – July 24, 2017
Cost: $950 (includes food*, housing, transportation and ministry trips)
*Food is provided during the Internship Training and during the Summer Program Weeks. On the weekends, leftovers may be available, but ultimately, food on the weekends is the Intern\’s own responsibility.

Kitchen Manager/ DTS Cook
We have an ongoing need for someone to shop, plan menus and feed us. Each fall we run a DTS and we have regular training events year round. Learning makes us so hungry. If you have Food Safe and would like to volunteer a few hours a week or serve full-time, we would love to talk to you!
Do you love to rally people to a cause? We are looking people who love people, public speaking, travel and talking about what God is doing around the world in missions. YWAM Vancouver is developing a team focused on mobilizing people into short and long-term missions involvement. If you\’ve done a DTS and you\’d like to know more about this team please contact us.
Currently, we have a specific need for someone with a real heart for missions that also possesses a strong organizational skill set. Someone who would love to contact schools and churches and setting up recruiting engagements. This person would also help keep track of potential contacts, engagement times and group information. In addition to these tasks, they would desire to travel to various locations, setting up booth and promotional information at schools and churches, being involved in public speaking; sharing about missions and your own involvement in missions, answering questions, and giving youth information about the ways they can be involved in missions.
Good with details? Lots of them and paperwork (mostly online). Like the chance to explain our exciting missions opportunities
At YWAM Vancouver we sing about our unsung heroes. Infrastructure people are vital to the health of our organization so if you have this skill set and you would like to know more about this opportunity drop us a note.
