YWAM Vancouver does more than run schools. We are actively involved in several spheres of society here and abroad, with everything from preschools and publication of children's books, to marriage workshops and connecting with the business world. So go ahead and take a look, get in touch, ask questions, and see what God is doing through YWAM Vancouver and our associated ministries.
Together is a ministry that focuses on marriages. They believe that a healthy marriage is one of the most important factors in missionary effectiveness, and that marriage/family is the seedbed for influencing every sphere of society. Whether you are newly married, or have been married for decades, having professional Life Coaches help you grow and better your marriage is incredibly valuable. They will not only help you discover the real strength of your marriage, but will help equip you to mentor and call other married couples to learn to live and lead out of their marriages.
Keys to Joy Publishing aims to provide low cost resources that help promote restoration and healing for children, in their own context and language. They believe that every child and person has intrinsic worth, and hope to instill that sense of worth through their publications. These resources are designed to help children process and express their feelings, and to create a sustainable resource for families, childcare workers, teachers, etc.
Little Promises is a wonderful preschool program that follows a Christ-centred preschool curriculum. It's a place for your little ones to grow and learn in a safe, loving environment. Pam (who runs Little Promises), has been working in Early Childhood Education for over 18 years, and has set up preschools/trained teachers in several countries around the world. Little Promises truly is a child care home with a difference.
All over the world, and in every walk of life, people are affected by business. The job we do, the people we meet, and our quality of life are all influenced by business. It is a part of life that can impact nations, people groups, and societies in many different ways. Business With a Mission (BWAM) provides a pathway for business people to use their skills and experience to mentor, coach, and encourage others within the context of their work. It also provides training to equip Christian business people to start companies around the globe, providing a sustainable and fair income.
