Update from our 2018 trip

It's a wrap!!! Our YWAM Vancouver May 2018 Thailand Cambodia missions trip is “officially” over now as our team is safely back home and over their “jet lag” issues!

We wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for ALL your prayers and support for our team and our time in Asia. The Lord generously provided the funding we needed in order for us to do ALL of the various projects and ministry in Bangkok, Pattaya, Phnom Penh and Svay Rieng. YAY! SO THANKFUL TO GOD!

MANY lives where changed and positively effected because we went...and were able to share the love of God with them in practical, tangible ways. It is impossible for me to pick just ONE “highlight” from our time in Thailand or Cambodia. There are just too many that flood my mind. Whether I think about our time lovin’ on the kids in each location, or doing bible studies with the energetic elderly in a Bangkok slum community and blessing them with bags of rice, to teaching English to university students, to doing a basic health care clinic for 70 adults and 40 children in a Khmer/Burmese Migrant worker camp in Pattaya, or taking oodles of kids to the beach and a water park after a special "Kids Camp", to washing and delousing countless heads of hair in a Phnom Penh slum, to digging a well and building a new bathroom for a 70 year old Khmer lady in rural Cambodia, or even just being present to participate in the dedication of the brand new “Children at Risk” ministry center in Svay Rieng and then being the first ones to do “Kids Club” there afterwards…it was ALL simply AMAZING! God showed up BIG time and used our team in SO many incredible ways. What a privilege! Hopefully the images included will help tell our story! 🙂

Please continue to pray for Thailand and Cambodia and especially the ministries of the Ruth Center in Bangkok, the Pattaya Slum Ministries in Pattaya, and the Children at Risk ministries in Phnom Penh and Svay Rieng. We planted MANY seeds along the way and now we want to lift up these ministries and their staff as they continue the work God has called them to do. We are SO thankful for the opportunity we had to go and be apart of it all!
