WE ARE
YWAM VANCOUVER.

We are communities of missionaries who are serving, growing, and laughing together in Greater Vancouver. We're passionate about knowing God and making God known. We embrace the calling to share the story of God's love to people groups who have never heard the Gospel. We work to see God's kingdom fully expressed to the least reached, and the cities of the world.

OUR STORY.

Youth With A Mission (YWAM) Vancouver began in 1972 when Uli Korstch pioneered a new ministry on the West Coast of Canada. The Dilaram House was the YWAM expression from 1975 to 1980, ministering to backpackers, hippies, and world travelers.

We continued to take shape throughout the 1980s and 1990s. In the early 2000s, we began to offer Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) to young people who were hungry to know more about God. We serve God faithfully and joyfully in Vancouver and will continue to do so for many years to come!

2 Communities 1 Mission

YWAM Vancouver is structured in two communities, each with the mission of embracing the least reached, and influencing the cities of the world.

The Drive

Drive Community

Located in the heart of Vancouver's Commercial Drive Neighbourhood,  the Drive Community is actively involved in local evangelism initiatives and hosts our DTS, DBS, and Mission Adventures Programs, and more!

Spheres

Spheres Community

The Spheres Community consists of many YWAMers across the Greater Vancouver area who are working in and influencing the different spheres of society.
